Are you spending too long processing your weddings?

Do you struggle to produce good Black & Whites?

How many images do you process then sit back and say to yourself ‘Wow’ – Is it enough?

Do you wish you had more time to concentrate on other areas of your business?

Do you currently outsource your editing because you simply do not know enough?

Would you like to learn about WordPress / Blogs and how to get page One Google?

After replying to many Emails and receiving numerous phone calls from other part time and professional wedding photographers asking for help and advice, I am now offering one-2-one training for photographers wishing to improve their workflow, efficiency, and quality / impact of their processed images.

I will spend a day with you at our office in Staffordshire, starting from the point you bring back your images from the wedding. I will show you how to ‘Edit In’ your images, create folder structures for the most efficient workflow, then adjusting white balance and exposure, to batching into jpegs. I will show you which actions I use and my Photoshop workflow to produce the ‘Wow’ images from your wedding. You will see the hardware and the software programs I use, with discussions regarding both. Nothing held back and no secrets kept … ! My aim will be to drastically shorten the amount of time you spend in front of your computer, allowing you to concentrate on the other important areas of your business.

See below for some before (straight out of camera) and post processed examples. How these images were processed and which actions were used will be fully demonstrated on the training days.

Why should I invest in this? – The reason is simple …….. look at it from your business point of view. You are going to profit financially from what you learn, you could potentially increase your bookings and turnover due to the improved quality of the images on your websites, achieved by implementing a better and more time efficient workflow.

*NEW* - The last part of the day if you wish, I will show you how to get page one Google for your chosen search terms. How to track the progress of your site using new software, show you the advantages of wordpress / blogs and how to install them, which plugins to use, and how to optimize your site against your competitors.

Investment for the day £175 inclusive. (One-2-One at our office)

One-2-One training at a location of your choice can also be arranged, but may incur an extra charge for travelling.

Investment in Dave Nunn action set £25 – I have made 22 of my own actions, they are the only actions I ever use throughout my processing. They will be offered to anyone on a training day, and are NOT available to purchase separately. Ever wondered why when you buy actions they don’t all work for you as you want? This is because each action once run needs further work BEFORE flattening. I will show you by using masks and layers how to correct each different area of brightness, colour and sharpening of an image to get the best results from each action, especially my Black and Whites.

“Having spent a whole day with Dave on a 1-2-1 Wedding photography Post processing day, I can thoroughly and whole heartedly recommend his service. Dave not only takes you from the basics, but also shows you some advance editing skills that really do give a good image the WOW factor. Explained in sensible, easy to understand language, with a step by step approach, Dave shows you, in detail, how to take a great image and make it better. Think of this as an investment – an investment that could repay you many times over with an increase in profitability and more importantly, free up much needed time to go do other things.”

I cannot wait now for my next wedding and to get that stunning image which gives you an amazing buzz. I appreciate all your help and advice and I hope that over the coming months you see a huge difference in my work.”

“Thank you so much for the post processing training today. It has definitely opened my eyes to the way I have been post processing my wedding images. I have no doubt that the method you have shown me today will save me a huge amount of time, time that I will then be able to spend in other areas of my business (and personal life). The fact that the training was on a one-to-one basis was invaluable to me as you went through everything that was beneficial and of interest to me. Thank you also for taking the time to answer the non-post processing questions which I asked. You explained everything in a simple and straightforward manner and I would highly recommend you to anyone looking to invest in training.”

You guys are so friendly and helpful that I now have the skills and belief to really move my business and editing skills upwards and onwards. No matter what stage you are at with your editing or business David will put you in the right direction – If you only go on one training course this year, you will not go far wrong with a trip down to Stafford to see David. Many thanks guys. Dave”

“Just wanted to say a quick thank you for Mondays One to One. The structure of the day was suited perfectly for what I wanted to achieve. I am now able to edit a wedding much more efficiently now and the results are far better than before. I now look forward to post processing instead of dreading it. This is highly recommended to anyone looking to improve their workflow. Many thanks, Brendan.”

“Dave, having spent a day training with you I would like to say a huge thank you, what you taught me that day has changed the way I work in ways I wouldn’t have thought possible. What used to take days now takes me hours, and as an added bonus the processing skills you gave me have enabled me to give my Images the WOW factor. So once again Dave thanks for the very enjoyable and worthwhile day.”

“I would like to say a big thank you to Dave and Emma for a fantastic day. They are both extremely friendly, helpful and approachable. It was a real pleasure to spend time with them. I have been following Dave’s work for quite a while and when he started running the one-2-one post-processing courses, I didn’t hesitate a minute to book it. And I certainly didn’t go wrong. Dave showed me how to use my time more efficiently and how to take good photos to the next level and add a “wow” factor to them. Dave’s approach is very simple and straightforward, which makes the life of a wedding photographer much easier. Spending the whole day with Dave also gave me an opportunity to talk about other things not related to post-processing. I am grateful for all the invaluable advice I was given and recommend this course to any wedding photographer, full-time or part-time. It is a great investment into the future.”

“Hi Dave. Had to write and say a big thank you for the training day last week. I came straight home and sorted everything out and started working with the new work flow the very next day. I reckon that once I’m familiar with the process it will save me hours, probably days of sitting in front of the computer sorting out my weddings!! I learnt so much and had so many questions answered. Altogether a great day, brilliant value for money, there is now a hope that I may get my life back!!”

“We’d like to thank both Dave and Emma for a fantastic training day, the warmth and hospitality we received was second to none. The post wedding processing was both enlightening and inspirational, the ability to reduce post-production time will allow us to free up some much needed time so that we can develop our business. We’re now looking forward to our next wedding and producing some of those WOW images. We are also grateful for our invaluable chat on the potential of better web navigation and design. Our initial list of things to do over the coming weeks has now gone out the window and been replaced by an even longer one, but one that will be more satisfying when we achieve our end goal. Thank you so much for an enjoyable and worthwhile day.”

“I would like to say a massive thank you Dave for yesterdays training day, it has changed my approach to processing totally, instead of the “oh my god how many have I got to process” it will be “bring it on from now on”. Your advice on SEO is invaluable and I will be putting that into practice. As for your P.S. Actions what can I say – “priceless”. Thanks again Dave and Emma for your hospitality, really had fab day.”

“Thank you so much for yesterday. I have long been aware of serious weaknesses in my workflow, known it to be poorly organised, long-winded and insecure. Clearly, you have a protocol which addresses all of those issues and I am very grateful to you for patiently taking the time to reveal your secrets. I have some serious work to do over the course of the coming days to get myself organised but very much look forward to becoming freed in the near future from interminable hours sitting in front of a computer. Access to your Actions is of course the icing on the cake. To someone who has long struggled to get to grips with the deepest recesses of Photoshop they provide a simple answer to achieving some absolutely stunning results. Thank you very much.”

“Just a note to say how grateful I am for all the information and training today, I have so many lights on in my head I’m sure it must be glowing! Claire and I spent virtually the whole drive home talking about it; I think we will both be up to see you again in the not too distant future and I’ll certainly be spreading the word on how useful the day has been.”

“Dave & Emma, I had a fantastic day of knowledge accumulation and photographic inspiration when I experienced a one-to-one training session with you last week. Your workflow method is brilliantly efficient, and your Actions can make ordinary images special, but on the wonderfully creative images that you routinely create, the effects are absolutely stunning. Since then, I have been practising and studying to further the process of my wedding photography rebirth. Thanks for granting me the tools and motivation required to revive my business. My grateful thanks, Alan.”

“Had a fantastic time with Dave and Emma, for anyone wanting to seriously get a grip of their workflow a day invested with Dave will save you not only time but money. There comes a critical point where it is simply foolish to be performing tasks that add no value at all to your finished product. So if you want a polished product in a fraction of the time then a day invested in sorting your workflow can give you more benefits than you believe possible.”

” I would like to thank Dave and Emma for a fantastic training day which totally exceeded my expectations. Your warmth, hospitality and training is second to none and has given me the tools to move my own business forward in a more structured and efficient manner. To all photographers reading this, if you only have the budget for one training course this year, then this training day is the one to attend. No matter what stage you are at with your editing/business then Dave will put you on the right track.”

“Yesterday’s opening from DN was simple enough “What are you hoping to get out of the day?” and all I could answer was that I was after a simplified workflow to manage files better; not clog up my system of hard drives with countless copies and a means of adding ‘Wow’ to my images – tall order I thought. We discussed ‘managing expectations’ in relation to clients by over delivering, and that’s exactly what DN did for me too. I came away with a new workflow that will see me work smarter & faster; that will allow me to add exactly the sort of Wow to my images that I was after; a greater understanding of how to use the internet to attract business; a means of reinventing my photography business; added confidence; and new friends in Dave & Emma too. Everyone should have a 1-2-1 like this, but I hope you don’t – as I’d rather you, the competition , remained like rhubarb… in the dark !!!”
